Sustagen RTD Strawberry Flavour meets the Food Standards Code criteria for a ‘Gluten free’ claim on label. There is one component in the flavour that contains maltodextrin sourced from wheat. The maltodextrin is highly refined with no detectable gluten. However, it is a Food Standards Code labelling requirement to declare ‘wheat’ in the ingredient list and allergen statement even though product does not contain detectable gluten. In addition, every batch of Sustagen RTD Strawberry Flavour is analysed to ensure nil detected gluten before they are released for sale in the market. We take the testing and release of each batch seriously to ensure we maintain our high standards of food safety
